2. Create your account & sign in

You can browse and run the free check without an account. To open a case you sign in first.

    Create an account

Pick “Policyholder”, enter your name, email and phone, and choose a password (or “Use magic link instead”).

    Create account /auth/signup
  2. 2

Tick the DPDP consent box and accept the Terms — both are required.

    DPDP consent + Terms /auth/signup
  3. 3

  4. 4
    Sign in

Use Password, Magic link or Mobile OTP. If you set up two-factor, enter the 6-digit code.

Watch out: Email + password sign-up does not create a session — you must click the emailed link before you can sign in. (Continue-with-Google, when available, signs you in immediately.)
Tip: Forgot your password? Use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page to get a reset link (valid 30 minutes).

4. Open a claim case (intake)

Case services like the Claim Readiness Audit (₹2,999) or the Claim Rejection Review (₹4,999) open a proper case: a 9-step form that captures your claim and documents, then a review and payment.

  1. 1
    Start the intake

Open Pricing, pick a case service, and click “Get Started”. We create a draft and open the form.

    Get Started /pricing
  2. 2
    Fill steps 1–8

Basic details, insurance type, insurer & policy, the claim problem, financials, timeline, what happened. Everything autosaves.

    Continue /intake/[draftId]

    “Saved” shows after each step

  3. 3
    Upload your documents

Add your policy, claim form, and the rejection/repudiation letter. You can import from DigiLocker too.

    Continue to review /intake/[draftId]
  4. 4
    Review everything

Check each section; use the Edit links to fix anything.

    Step 9 of 9 · Review & pay /intake/[draftId]/review
  5. 5
    Pay to open the case

Proceed to payment; once paid, your case is created and a case manager is assigned.

5. Buy a specific service

Some services skip the full intake. The Claim Review (₹749) is a written review of your claim — AI-assisted, approved by a claims specialist, delivered the same business day; the Claim Review + Expert Call (₹1,499) adds a call with a claims specialist within 5 working days, plus a written recap. Neither includes drafting your grievance or legal notice — those are separate services.

  1. 1
    Choose a service

Browse the catalogue and pick a service.

    Pricing /pricing
  2. 2
    Confirm the details

For a call or document, pick your policy type, describe the issue in one line, and (for calls) a callback window.

    Proceed to pay /buy/[slug]
  3. 3
    Pay securely

Confirm the amount and pay via Razorpay.

Copy the reference number and follow the button to track fulfilment.

Compliance: Your written Claim Review is AI-assisted and then reviewed and approved by a BimaHaq claims specialist before it reaches you — you never receive an unreviewed AI draft.
Tip: The Claim Review fee (₹749) is fully credited toward the Claim Review + Expert Call (₹1,499) — or any service at that price or above — if you upgrade within 30 days. A Claim Review + Expert Call bought at full price doesn’t earn an onward credit. Your dashboard shows the credit.

6. Track your case & talk to your case manager

Open a case from your dashboard to see its status, message your case manager, and add documents. The status pill shows where your claim stands with the insurer.

  1. 1
    Open your case

Click a case card; an unread badge shows new messages.

    Case card /dashboard
  2. 2
    Read the overview

The Overview tab shows the claim status and the key details.

    Overview /dashboard/cases/[caseId]
  3. 3
    Message your case manager

On the Messages tab, type and send. You can attach documents.

    Messages /dashboard/cases/[caseId]
  4. 4
    Upload a requested document

On the Documents tab, add the file the team asked for (PDF/JPG/PNG/DOC, max 10 MB).

    Documents /dashboard/cases/[caseId]
  5. 5
    Correct your details (before filing)

Use “Edit details” to fix a fact you entered — available only before your grievance is filed.

    Edit details /dashboard/cases/[caseId]
  • Not filed — the claim isn’t lodged with the insurer yet.
  • Filed — lodged; this is where a new case usually starts.
  • Under review — the insurer is assessing it.
  • Query raised — the insurer asked for more information.
  • Delayed — the insurer is past its turnaround time.
  • Partially approved — approved for less than you claimed.
  • Rejected — denied; this is what you can challenge.
  • Settled — paid or resolved in your favour.
  • Closed — the case is closed (it can be reopened for a fresh dispute).

Watch out: You can self-correct case facts only before your grievance is filed. Once facts underlie a filed document, “Edit details” is hidden and the change is blocked.
Note: Messages are rate-limited — if you send many quickly you’ll see “Slow down — try again in a moment.”

7. Free document triage

When it’s switched on, the free triage reads your uploaded papers and returns a deterministic verdict and document gaps. If you don’t see it, use the free Claim Direction Check instead.

  1. 1
    Open triage

Follow the triage card on your dashboard (shown only when enabled).

    Free Claim Triage /account/triage
  2. 2
    Upload your papers

Add at least one file to “Issued by the insurer” and/or “Filed by you”.

    Continue /account/triage
  3. 3
    Add details & consent

Pick policy type, status and amount, describe the issue, and tick DPDP consent.

    Get my triage /account/triage
  4. 4
    Read the verdict

Review the verdict, document gaps, and next steps.

    Your next steps /account/triage
Note: Triage guidance is claims guidance only, not legal advice, and needs your explicit DPDP consent before it runs.

8. Get help — assistant & support tickets

Two ways to get unstuck. The assistant answers process questions on any public page. For anything about your account, billing or a site problem, open a support ticket.

  1. 1
    Ask the assistant

Open the chat bubble and ask how something works. It explains the process — it never gives a claim verdict.

    Assistant any public page
  2. 2
    Open a support ticket

Follow the Support card on your dashboard, then “New ticket”.

    New ticket /account/support
  3. 3
    Describe the issue

Pick a category, add a subject and description, and open the ticket.

    Open ticket /account/support

We reply within one working day

  4. 4
    Reply and attach files

Read our replies, respond, and attach a screenshot or document if it helps.

    Send reply /account/support
  5. 5
    Close it when done

Click “Close ticket” once you’re sorted.

    Close ticket /account/support
Tip: Questions about a specific claim case belong in that case’s Messages tab. Support tickets are for everything else — billing, login, bugs, general questions.

9. Your privacy & data rights

You control your data. These rights are self-service under India’s DPDP Act.

  1. 1
    Correct your profile

Fix your name, phone or preferred language and save.

    Save changes /profile
  2. 2
    Export your data

Request a copy; we email you when the JSON bundle is ready (available 24 hours after approval).

    Request export /profile/privacy
  3. 3
    Delete your account

Give a short reason and request deletion; an admin reviews it within 30 days.

    Request deletion /profile/privacy
  4. 4
    Withdraw cookie consent

    Reset analytics/marketing consent anytime.

    Withdraw non-essential cookies /profile/privacy
  5. 5
    Manage security

Change your password, set up two-factor, and sign out other devices.

    Security /profile/security
Watch out: Deletion can’t complete while a case is still open or under a legal hold — records the law requires us to keep are retained with restricted access until their retention period ends.
Note: Unhappy with how a request was handled? Contact our Grievance Officer at privacy@bimahaq.com, or escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

Questions people ask

Do I have to pay to find out if I have a case?
No. The free Claim Direction Check gives you an honest verdict with no login and no payment.
Will BimaHaq guarantee my claim gets paid?
No. We build the strongest grievance we can and guide you through the escalation ladder, but no one can guarantee an outcome.
Is the Claim Review written by AI?
It’s AI-assisted and then reviewed and approved by a BimaHaq claims specialist before it reaches you. You never get an unreviewed draft.
What’s the difference between case messages and a support ticket?
Case messages are for your claim, inside the case. Support tickets are for everything else — billing, login, a site problem or a general question.
Can I get my money back if I upgrade?
Your Claim Review fee is fully credited toward the Claim Review + Expert Call — or any service costing the same or more — if you upgrade within 30 days; your dashboard shows the credit. A Claim Review + Expert Call bought at full price doesn’t earn an onward credit.
Stuck on something this guide didn't cover?

Ask the assistant on any page, or open a support ticket — we reply within one working day.

This guide explains how to use the BimaHaq platform. It is general information, not legal or financial advice, and describes a process — not a guaranteed outcome.
