BimaHaq is built to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the site, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment, not a one-off.
What we do
We build with semantic HTML and ARIA roles, support full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators, keep colour contrast at least 4.5:1 for body text, and size mobile tap targets at least 44 pixels. We write in plain English. We test with screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver) as part of our release process.
Known limitations
Some embedded third-party components (for example, a payment gateway) are outside our direct control and may not fully meet our standard. We monitor these and work to improve or replace them, and we can help you complete such steps another way if you hit a barrier.
