These terms govern our end-to-end Claim Dispute Resolution service. They add to our general Terms of Use, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer, and the engagement letter for your matter sets the specifics.
Scope
We help you pursue your claim: we draft grievances and representations, prepare Insurance Ombudsman complaints for you to file, support consumer-forum matters, and run online dispute resolution / mediation. We do not appear for you before any forum, Commission or court — where representation is needed, an independent advocate whom you engage directly appears — and we are not your insurer or broker.
Fees
Dispute-resolution engagements are custom packages quoted upfront: Ombudsman documentation-assistance packages start at ₹4,999, and consumer court packages start at ₹4,999 as BimaHaq's platform fee, with advocate fees billed separately. The fee confirmed in your engagement letter is the fee you pay. We charge no success fee and take no percentage of any amount recovered. GST is not charged (we are not GST-registered) and will apply only if and when we register.
No guarantee of outcome
Dispute outcomes depend on the policy, the evidence, and the decisions of insurers, ombudsmen, forums, or mediators. We apply our best judgement but cannot guarantee recovery or a particular result.
Termination
You may end the engagement at any time; the fee is not refunded when you do (see our Refund Policy). If we decline the matter, the advocate we seated has a conflict, or we cannot staff it, we end the engagement and refund your payment in full.
Conflicts and confidentiality
We run a conflict check before accepting a matter and decline where a conflict exists. Your matter is kept confidential and your personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
